Make a donation

Computer Aid

Computer Aid relies on the generosity of our donors to change lives for the better across the developing world. Our work is remarkably cost-effective: a donation of just £50 can put a computer on a desk in a school that would otherwise have no access to such facilities. Regular giving allows you to spread the cost of your donation and helps us plan for the future. In return we promise to keep you up to date about your support is making a difference.

You can make a single or monthly donation quickly and securely online. To send a gift by post, please make your cheque payable to 'Computer Aid International' and post it, along with a Gift Aid declaration form to:

Please don't forget to Gift Aid your donation because if you are a UK taxpayer, we can reclaim 28p of tax on every pound you donate - making your donation go much further at no extra cost to you! Thank you

Become a Computer Aid International Partner

Become a Computer Aid International Partner for less than the cost of a daily cup of coffee and help us deliver the benefits of IT to the millions of poor people who need it. As a Partner, we ask that you give a regular gift of £50 per month (that's around £1.60 a day).

Your support will put a PC in a school or community organisation in the developing world every month.  You’ll help hundreds of people over the course of a year and help us plan strategically - providing the foundations we need to make our vision of a world where rich and poor people have equal access to IT a reality.

As a Computer Aid International Partner you will receive:

  • Information on our countries of focus that interest you,
  • All the latest news about how our colleagues in the developing world are using IT with your support
  • A short DVD about how your support is making a difference
  • E-newsletter updates
  • Access to our team who will answer any questions you may have about our work
  • Invitations to events in the UK
  • Exclusive discounts on our range of exciting challenge events for you and your friends

Regular giving is also the smarter way to give. If you are a UK tax payer, the government will add 28p to every pound you donate. If you're a higher rate tax payer you can reclaim the difference between the basic and higher rate of tax on all of your donations.

Please set up a regular gift online now to join our partnership scheme or download our standing order form and post it back at the address provided.

Gifts of Land, Property or Shares

Giving property, land or shares is a simple, tax-effective way to support our work. It can also reduce your tax bill as such donations can be exempt from Capital Gains Tax and also reduce your Income Tax liability. Our team can guide you through the process of making gifts of this kind.

Please contact Stephen Campbell on 020 8361 5540 or email us and we will provide you with all of the information that you need in order to make your gift.
